Weddings and Civil Ceremonies

With packages at just £199 to £299, there is something to suit everyone's pocket. The best of the computer-edited photographs, in both colour and black and white, are supplied to you on DVD in a presentation case with a laser-etched disc 'label' of one of the images, and you may do with them pretty much as you wish. This includes printing and framing, uploading to social networking sites, passing on to friends and family, etc. You can order high-quality prints and photo albums from many online companies such as www.photobox.co.uk - 8" x 6" prints are just 44p, and populated photo-albums start at around £30. I also provide you with your own private online photo gallery/slideshow of all of the colour photographs for your friends and family to enjoy (similar to the Portfolio galleries that you see on this page, but requiring a username and password to log in).

There are no additional costs involved - no VAT, and even my travel expenses are covered in the price. However, if the ceremony is much further than a 100 mile 'round trip, then I would probably add on something extra for petrol, etc. Furthermore, if you did want me to stay until late into the evening, beyond the first dance perhaps, then I would appreciate a meal of some description!

The £199 Wedding or Civil Ceremony Package

  • I arrive thiry minutes before the service is due to start to photograph people arriving and getting ready. Then the Wedding/Civil Ceremony itself, followed by onsite/nearby photography.
  • Computer editing time, carrying out enhancements to the photos. I use specialist software and a colour-calibrated monitor to ensure excellent colour rendition and sharpness. With each individual wedding, I typically spend between five and ten hours doing this.
  • The best of the computer-edited photographs, in both colour and black and white, are supplied to you on DVD in a presentation case with a laser-etched disc 'label' of one of the images, and you may do with them pretty much as you wish. Whilst I can not guarantee to supply you with a minimum number of photos, it will be in the order of about 75 to 100.
  • A private online photo gallery/slideshow of all of the colour photographs for your friends and family to enjoy (useful for them to identify which prints they would like you to order on their behalf!).

The £299 Wedding or Civil Ceremony Package

The same as the £199 Package, plus:

  • Coverage of Reception up until the first dance - typically speeches, cake-cutting, first dance, etc.
  • Whilst I can not guarantee to supply you with a minimum number of photos, it will be in the order of about 125 to 175.

Other options are available, including coverage or the bride getting ready and/or coverage of the remainder of the dance/disco beyond the first dance.

Deposit and Contract for Wedding/Civil Ceremony Photography and Terms and Conditions

A 50% deposit (cheque, postal order or bank transfer), along with a signed copy of the Wedding Photography Contract, is required to secure the booking, and the balance must be paid no later than seven days before the ceremony. You will be sent two copies of the 'Contract for Wedding/Civil Ceremony Photography and Terms and Conditions'. You need to sign both copies, and send one back to me (along with your 50% deposit). Please note that by signing the Contract you agree that you have read both the Contract and the Terms and Conditions through carefully, and that you agree to be bound by the contents.

You may wish to view this sample 'Contract for Wedding/Civil Ceremony Photography and Terms and Conditions' in Adobe PDF format (requires Adobe Reader, which you can download free here, if you need to). Alternatively, a Microsoft word version is available by clicking here.

Agreed/Fixed Price for Weddings/Civil Ceremonies

All quotes are valid for thirty days. Also, when a deposit and returned signed contract for a booking is accepted by me, the quoted total price is (of course) fixed and will never be increased (unless you required additional services), even though I tend to increase my fees over time. For example, if I have accepted a booking from you for a £199 ceremony, then you will not pay anymore for that agreed coverage, even if the ceremony is two years from the date of booking and I have put my prices up in the meantime!
